Every tier is $5 USD afterwards and is lifetime, meaning its forever and applies to all novels on the site. Effectively, pay once and read for life. Also, make sure you're logged into the site with your patreon account so the site knows it's you.
If you want to increase the amount, you need to take into account of what you already pledged. Say you pledged 5$ already, and you want to increase it to 50$, you need to put 50$ and patreon will only charge you 45$ minus 5$.
