These words may be coming out of that childish mouth, but the tone and force in his voice showed that he’s well on his way to becoming a ruler of one realm.

Initially the man flashed a flicker of hope in his eyes after hearing there’s a chance to turn things around, but the latter part completely ripped the light out of his face like he’s dead inside.
