Chapter 517 “The Second Ninth Realm Dan Pill (p2)
“Take a look at these hidden weapons and trap holes, they were clearly activated by someone.” After observing their surroundings, Luo Song eventually came before a small pebble that’s next to one of the trap levers.
In this case, it could only mean someone lured the members of the Sky Armor Sect into this area and then activated all of the triggers using these small pebbles.
At the same time over at the end of the northern tunnel, Zhu Ge Yi was a total mess right now. Seeping black blood and a messy appearance overall, this senior looked nothing like his usual self. If anything, he’s no different from a beggar with that ragged appearance.
“You little slut, you dare to scheme against me!” The elder roars, enraged his predicament.
Zhu Ge Yi did in fact locate the precious pill as he wished once the grandpa reached a similar room to what Hong Ming Yue saw. The only difference for him here was that he’s alone. As such, he had no choice but to expend a good portion of his Dan fire to break the seal. Then that’s when the sneak attack from Ling Yue’s team came striking from behind, injuring him and breaking his focus.
Now, the elder’s strength was less than thirty percent of his full power.
“Elder Zhu Ge, if you say it like that then what about the things you and your daughter Zhu Ge Rou imparted on me and my mother? Compared to that debt, the injuries I imparted on you is considered light already. Pity for the disciples of the Sky Armor Sect though, they died for nothing because of a villain like you.” Spreading her hands and shaking her head, Ye Ling Yue’s gaze eventually fell upon the Ninth Realm Dan pill that’s still floating in the air.

Her plan was working out perfectly. First was to have Dao Nu and Lan Caier keep the old bastard busy, then she would use this opportunity to snatch the precious pill, leaving Little Crow and Feng Shen to rummage through the room for the jade tablets to escape afterwards.
“So it was you who caused everything back there!” Zhu Ge Yi has finally got it. The whole reason why so many traps activated at once was because of this brat.
“Hoho, not only that, I also saved one of the last surviving disciples of the Sky Armor Sect prior to coming in here. Zhu Ge Yi, you better pray for your own fortune once you leave the Star Cave.”
“Why are we talking so much crap. Dao Nu, let’s work together and finish off this old man first.” In a heroic yell, Lan Caier didn’t wait at all and dashed forward with her whip for the second time.
Understanding there’s no time to waste anymore as well, Ling Yue promptly used this opening to swallow one of her invisibility pills to conceal herself. In a jump, her hands had come oh so close to the floating bead to only have it fly right past her fingers.
Holy crap, this thing is sentient and knows how to dodge on its own!
This would be her first time encountering this experience. According to Mr. Red Mist’s codex, artifacts and Dan pills aren’t just sentient once they reach the eighth-grade level, sometimes the rarer ones could even take on the form of a human or animal.
As a result of this unexpected turn of events, the girl and pill were now playing a game of cat and mouse with the others either fighting in the background or running around in search of the jade tablets. But this won’t do for Ling Yue. She knows times of the essence and continuing this chase would just result in a waste of effort.
In a flex of her will, multiple Soul Reaping Chains immediately materializes from her palm and flies straight out for the target.

Thank you for the chapter!!!
So, again, just to reiterate it in a different way, these novels being translated by ur group feel like they’ve all come to a complete stand still. The work is greatly appreciated but, because they are such short chapters to begin with, and, because they’re being shortened and delivered in parts, it feels like nothing even gets accomplished(or even moves forward at all) until a week or so go by. By then, I’ve almost completely(or have) forgotten what is going on initially. I mean, each part is essentially only 500ish words. What can really change in that short a frame? So, I think I’ll have to start reading these once a week or even bi-weekly so I get to feel what the author was initially trying to get us to feel. I think that’ll be the only way I can feel the novel with its proper intent. I just hope it doesn’t really mess with ur viewer count much when others pick up on this(if they haven’t already. I caught this a long while back but really wanted to stay updated with the story. Ahh, my stubbornness costs me sometimes). Thx again for the chapter though:)
I agree w/u, the story update is getting really slow. Its like 2 chapchapters a week now.
I love this novel but its getting boring due to the lack of updates.
Idiot why aren’t you using the thiefs techniques
Yeah, was just rolling my eyes over that. They literally told her she would need the gloves + the abilities to snatch treasures in the cave, yet now she has totally forgotten about it…
Thank you!
