Chapter 482 “The Divine Thief’s Inheritence [Upper Half] (p1)”
Without further delay, the grey robed figure once again dispersed into his gas form and injected himself into the corpse.
PFFF!!!
Following this sudden burst of steam, that lifeless eye was once again filled with vitality and light.
The changes were truly astonishing. In merely a few seconds, that dried up husk of a body had begun to expand and regain its mass, followed by a fierce trembling like someone experiencing a seizure.
At first from the outside one would surely find it difficult to differentiate this new “Chen Minzhi” from the real one. However, if one took a closer look in the eyes, they would definitely notice that slight spooky hue in the iris.
That’s the same color of that freaky eyeball in the Black Valley!
………….
Next morning.
After a full night of heavy rain and the constant rumbling of thundering, A’bone has finally managed to break through into the reincarnation realm through the support of Ling Yue’s Reincarnation Dan pill.
She’s come a long way. From being deceived to losing her powers, this orphaned girl has lost a lot and suffered both emotionally and physically as a person during this ordeal. Nevertheless, as the old saying goes: if something doesn’t kill you then it would only make you stronger as a person.
Now, through all these experiences, A’bone herself could truly say she’s matured to the point of becoming a real adult. And thanks to the memories that she gained from the ritual, she could even pinpoint the secret location of the Beastial Sect with clear accuracy.
Now all that’s holding the party back from exploring was the drizzling rain that’s been running all night. Thankfully its not a storm like before, otherwise they wouldn’t even be able to move from their location.
“WAHH, I can’t believe the hidden stash of the Beastial Sect is so stacked!”
When the party finally managed to open up the secret room that A’bone led them to, the first thing that caught their eyes were the mountains of gold and jewelleries inside. Though some of the spirit cores were decayed beyond use, most were still fine due to the sealed off air. After some dusting and some counting, the net worth alone here amounted to tens of thousands!
“This is not that surprising. Back in ancient times, even a small little sect would have enough wealth to rival a small nation of our times. Now that A’bone have completed her trial of inheritance, these things here are by right hers as well as the burden of continuing the Beastial Sect’s legacy.” When watching the vast wealth presented before their eyes, the He Lao brothers just couldn’t help but get all emotion.
Yet, unlike what the brothers were thinking though, A’bone had other plans in mind.
“You want to hand over the treasures of the Beastial Sect to me?” Ling Yue was stunned by her friend’s sudden announcement.
“Chief, you saved my life. In order to repay this debt, I believe these should all go to you. What’s more, Chief, didn’t you say you want to develop the ancient forest? This wealth should be of great help in that cause don’t you think?” As someone who knows how to repay one’s debt, A’bone figured this was the best solution.
Besides, the girl’s thought it through already. For the sake of her remaining animal friends in the forest, as well as the safety of all living things here, she must seek help. The ancient forest lays between the borders of both North Qing and Da Xia, there’s no way she could possibly keep this paradise safe from two nations with her powers alone. But with Ling Yue’s help though, that would be completely different.
The wild girl still hasn’t forgotten her experience in the Red Mist Sky, that’s not something an ordinary person could possibly have, which only fueled her determination even further.
No words were needed to reach a consensus here. Ling Yue could see the sincerity in her friend’s eye.

Thank you for the chapter!!!
In all these novels about cultivation they all continue to have their MCs make the same mistakes. This one especially is quite daunting, burn the friggin bodies! Tons of cultivation methods, evil sects and formulas are out there so wouldn’t burning the bodies be kinda the common sense in these worlds? Yet, MCs continue to leave the bodies around for the taking or for them to reanimate. Authors continue to allow this ridiculous cliche’ to continue. But, I truly do believe that if such worlds really did exist and these techniques were known, available or common practice that it really would be a step that all of them did on instinct. That’s why its an irritating one for me to read about. It’s like the authors dont even think before they write, “So if this world were real what would their natural actions and reactions be?” Isn’t that a common sentence every author asks themselves when building a story to bring realism and life to the universe they are creating? So how is it always skipped in Chinese novels?
Oh, ikr ! Especially since Ling Yue herself has taken a dead body and given it to Old Monster to use tsk tsk tsk
Thank you!
