Damn,, this is getting stupidly rediculous all this silly misunderstandings because of her lack of faith of her husbands even after all the things he did for her she was still so easily deceived by people. The most ridiculous is Di Cang can go meet her first but he instead using third party to relay the message and the third party is useless as fucck and he still keep him alive .

I agree, Bai Yan says she’d trust him but is failing to even give him that. I understand why, but if she said she’d trust him, to move past her trauma, then she should give him trust.
She did trust him. She is waiting for twenty days for his explanation and ask if there is a possibility for an imposter or not and now these shadow guard hurt xiachen who is her bottom line

Honestly, i understand your annoyance. But she did trust him tho. After hearing what that impostor said, she refused to believe it was really him. Unfortunately, all facts told her that it WAS him. She even waited for three weeks for him. She doesn’t know that he’s away because no one told her and so the fact that he never came to see her for that long is just salt to the wound. Ngl, if I were in her shoes, I’d also leave. I value myself too much to stay with a guy who’d talk shit about me. And let’s not forget that she’s still traumatized. Trauma isn’t something that will disappear overnight with just some lovey-dovey words (contrary to lots of trashy romance stories). It’s a healing process (I’m not a therapist or anything but I at least know this much) and she’s still on that process. But the events that happened have been a huge blow for her and probably hindered, or deteriorated even, her healing.

I agree of how the story progress between the main leads here, mainly because I believe Bai Yan has to experience the courage to believe in love. I got no problem with Di Cang here if in the past life he can overcome many hurdles in their love story how much more now that its part of his personality to pursue his love of his life. So long as Bai Yan is still alive there is always a chance.
I thrive on drama
