Chapter 10: I Want This Car

As time passed.

Shock and excitement slowly spread across his face.

“This porcelain is extremely rare. I’ve been in this trade for many years, and even I rarely see an antique this old that has been preserved so perfectly.” Professor Zhang’s voice trembled slightly.

Su Qian asked nervously, “Professor, can you tell what dynasty it’s from?”

Professor Zhang shook his head. “There are no obvious dynasty markings on it, but judging from the craftsmanship and style, it’s at least 2,000 years old. It also has great research value.”

As Su Qian listened to Professor Zhang, her eyes brightened a little.

Now she could be sure the ancient era Lin Yue lived in was an alternate history.

“Miss, are you selling this porcelain? If you are, I do have some connections.” Professor Zhang adjusted his glasses and asked for Su Qian’s opinion.

After all, an antique like this was priceless and worth collecting.

Most people wouldn’t casually put something like that up for auction.

“Of course I’m selling.” Su Qian answered without hesitation.

Professor Zhang’s cloudy old eyes lit up a bit. “Perfect timing. There just happens to be a high-society antique-circle auction tomorrow. I can introduce you.”

Professor Zhang had extremely high prestige in the antique appraisal circle.

With him making the introduction, it saved a lot of trouble.

“Then I’ll be troubling you, Professor Zhang.” Su Qian smiled as she spoke.

“All right. I’ll spread the word in the circle. If those antique lovers hear there’s a darling this valuable, they’ll definitely swarm over.” Professor Zhang’s eyes were full of excitement and anticipation.

Su Qian, of course, knew the unwritten rules of the trade. “If it sells for a price I’m happy with, you’ll definitely get your share, Professor Zhang.”

Professor Zhang waved his hand and laughed. “Being able to appraise antiques with research value like this already makes this old man very happy.”

The few things Su Qian had brought over…

Just one of them, at random, was worth at least ten million.

If Professor Zhang hadn’t been short on money, he would’ve wanted to buy them himself.

When she was leaving, Professor Zhang even gave her a seller entry ticket for the auction.

After coming out of the lab, Su Qian took a taxi straight to the 4S dealership.

She had been taking taxis everywhere these past few days, and it was really inconvenient.

The current Su Qian was no longer the country bumpkin she had been at the beginning.

She wore a simple, elegant white Chanel dress, its smooth lines outlining her graceful figure.

Jimmy Choo heels and a classic Hermes bag made her look low-key yet luxurious.

The salespeople at a 4S dealership were all sharp.

One glance told them Su Qian’s outfit wasn’t cheap, and they immediately rushed up with smiles.

“Welcome! Ma’am. What are you looking for? We have every kind of model here.” Salesperson Xiao Hu spoke enthusiastically.

Su Qian nodded slightly. “Do you have something suitable for a woman to drive? It has to look good, and the performance needs to be decent too.”

Xiao Hu hurried ahead to lead the way. “We just got a few small, refined models that are perfect for a ma’am like you. I can introduce them in detail.”

Su Qian followed behind Xiao Hu, her gaze resting on the cars on display.

Xiao Hu explained the performance of each model seriously, then asked boldly, “Ma’am, what’s your budget? That way I can recommend something more precisely.”

Su Qian lifted her chin slightly, her expression calm. “Budget isn’t a problem. As long as it fits my requirements.”

A flash of excitement crossed Xiao Hu’s eyes.

He introduced even more enthusiastically.

But Su Qian wasn’t very interested in the models he showed.

Suddenly, her gaze fell on a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ in the showroom, and she was instantly drawn to it.

This one looked great, and it was eye-catching enough.

Xiao Hu noticed where Su Qian was looking and felt a small jolt.

He hadn’t expected this young girl to be interested in a supercar like that.

Seeing that, Xiao Hu immediately walked over and started a detailed introduction.

“Ma’am, you really have a unique eye. This Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is the pride of our shop, priced at around ten million. It was delivered to the store just this morning, but…” Xiao Hu paused.

“But what?” Su Qian’s eyes never left the car.

Xiao Hu hesitated. “But this car has already been reserved.”

“Reserved?” Su Qian looked a little disappointed.

She really liked the car, but she didn’t want to steal someone else’s choice.

Still, she asked without thinking, “Who reserved it?”

Xiao Hu hesitated, then said, “We usually keep customer information confidential, but since you really like this car, I’ll tell you quietly. The one who reserved it is the Su Group heiress, Su Mo Er.”

Hearing that familiar name, Su Qian froze for a moment, then raised her brows slightly.

What a coincidence.

If it were anyone else, Su Qian wouldn’t steal it.

But it just had to be Su Mo Er.

“I want this car!” Su Qian said decisively.

Xiao Hu hesitated. “Ma’am, that might not be appropriate. Miss Su already reserved it, so it’s not good for us to sell it to someone else.”

Su Qian lifted her chin. “Has she paid?”

Xiao Hu shook his head. “She paid a deposit. She said she’ll come pick up the car when she has time in the next couple of days.”

“Since she hasn’t paid in full, then the deal isn’t done. I’ve set my eyes on this car, and I’m buying it today. You just go handle the paperwork. If anything goes wrong, I’ll take responsibility.”

Whether it was a car or not didn’t matter.

If it could disgust Su Mo Er, Su Qian felt happy.

Xiao Hu was just a regular salesperson, and he couldn’t decide something like this. “Ma’am, please wait a moment. I’ll go find our sales manager.”

After he said that, Xiao Hu rushed to the general manager’s office to report the situation.

Su Qian wasn’t in a hurry.

She sat down in the lounge area, legs crossed, and soon a perceptive salesperson came over to pour her tea and bring water.

“Ma’am, should I introduce a car with similar specs and price?” a female salesperson asked carefully.

Su Qian shook her head slightly, her tone firm. “No need. I only want that Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. I’m not interested in other cars.”

The female salesperson looked a little awkward.

Still, she smiled. “Then please wait a moment. I’m sure the manager will give you a satisfactory answer soon.”

Su Qian took a small sip of tea.

Her gaze stayed calm as she looked at the supercar in the showroom that made her heart race.

Soon, the sales manager walked over quickly, wearing a face full of smiles. “Ma’am, sorry about that. I’m the sales manager here. Since you’ve set your eyes on this car, I’ll handle the procedures for you.”

Xiao Hu and the female salesperson from before both looked at the manager in shock.
