- Why Are You Crying When I Break up With You? The Fake Daughter Leads a New Sect
- Chapter 150 - He is her First Senior Brother, then who is he?
Chapter 150: He is her First Senior Brother, then who is he?
Feng He Yun stepped forward and announced: “We are disciples under Master Ling Xiao of the Flying Cloud Sect, so I advise you to let her go right now.”
He snapped at Shen Sang Ruo: “Shen Sang Ruo, why are you still standing there? Hurry over to us!”
In the past, the only people around Shen Sang Ruo were them. Even after she left Thunder-Scale Peak and the Flying Cloud Sect, she traveled alone.
Now two strangers had appeared out of nowhere, and Feng He Yun grew tense.
Seeing that she still did not move, he felt even more stifled.
He shouted again: “Shen Sang Ruo, we have years of Senior Brother and Junior Sister ties. How could we ever harm you?”
At these words, Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An both wore mocking looks.
They clearly knew what these people had done to Shen Sang Ruo. Yet they still had the nerve to claim they would not harm her.
Feng He Yun urged her in a softer tone: “Listen to me. These two don’t look like good people. If you want someone to travel with, come with us instead.”
Ye Huai let out a cold snort and swept an indifferent glance over Feng He Yun: “Senior Brother and Junior Sister ties? You and she stopped being that long ago. Where do those ‘ties’ come from now?”
Feng He Yun shot back with a scowl: “What do you know?” He had disliked Ye Huai from the start, and these words lit his temper even more.
He said with force: “What happened between us was just accidents and misunderstandings. Once we clear them up, she will return to the Flying Cloud Sect and still be our Junior Sister.”
Then he jabbed at Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An: “But you two, with unknown backgrounds, what right do you have to stand by her and talk to me, her First Senior Brother, like this? How dare you question our bond?”
To press them down in momentum, Feng He Yun puffed himself up and spoke as if he truly were Shen Sang Ruo’s rightful First Senior Brother.
Ye Huai tugged the corner of his mouth, as if laughing at Feng He Yun’s foolish fantasy.
Shen Sang Ruo had already joined Immortal Lord Chang Li. Yet the man before them was still trapped in his dream, thinking she could return. [If Feng He Yun is her First Senior Brother, then who is he?]
Across the way, Lu Shi Qing and Bai Ruo An traded several sharp looks.
Lu Shi Qing’s gaze was dark and fierce, like a blade flashing cold light.
Bai Ruo An’s eyes looked gentle on the surface, but inside they were steady and unyielding. His presence did not lose to Lu Shi Qing at all.
One cold, one soft, their auras could not be more different.
Lu Shi Qing clenched his fists and thought: [Does she like this kind of man?]
Just as the two sides were about to start a new round of confrontation, Shen Sang Ruo finally spoke.
She patted Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An, then said calmly: “First Senior Brother, Third Senior Brother, there’s no need to waste words with them.”
At that, both sides fell silent.
The scene was too coincidental. Feng He Yun and Lu Shi Qing naturally thought she was calling to them.
She gave Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An a light tap, signaling them to step aside.
Feng He Yun’s face showed smug delight as he said: “Hear that? She’s calling me. I am her rightful First Senior Brother.”
He waved at Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An: “You two should get lost and stay out of this.”
Lu Shi Qing’s expression eased a little, but his fists stayed tight. The words “Third Senior Brother” still echoed in his mind. Shen Sang Ruo would have to explain.
Shen Sang Ruo did give an explanation, though not the one he wanted.
She walked forward and let her gaze sweep over Feng He Yun.
The confident smile on his face seemed to urge her to hurry to their side.
She curved her lips in a mocking smile and said: “Feng He Yun, when did I ever say I was talking to you?”
“What did you say?” His grin froze. Her sudden words left him confused, as if he could not understand.
He blurted out in disbelief: “You called ‘First Senior Brother.’ If you weren’t calling me, then were you calling them?”
He looked like he was telling a joke and did not take it seriously. In his mind, this was impossible, so he kept on smirking.
Shen Sang Ruo said nothing. She only looked at him with cold eyes, as if watching a clown.
Feng He Yun’s smile faltered. He realized she was not joking.
His eyes widened as he stared at the three standing side by side.
“Shen Sang Ruo, you—”
Shen Sang Ruo cut him off with a cold laugh: “Back in the Phantom Mirage Domain, I told you I had joined a new sect. Did you think I was joking?”
She pointed to the two beside her and said: “They are my First Senior Brother and my Third Senior Brother.”
Lu Shi Qing’s face turned black. A faint cracking sound came from his palm.
She added, voice flat: “As for you, there is no longer any tie between us.”
She paused, then said even colder: “No, we are enemies.”
Feng He Yun’s body swayed and he almost fell. He grabbed Bai Mu Mu for support just in time.
Forced to act as a human crutch, Bai Mu Mu’s face grew visibly ugly.
Thinking of how he had made a fool of himself before Ye Huai and Bai Ruo An, the always prideful Feng He Yun turned green, then white.
Still unwilling to accept it, he pressed on: “Impossible. That’s impossible. How could you really join another sect? How could you take another Master?”
He glanced with jealousy at the two men by her side. These annoying Senior Brothers, where did they come from?
Did she really not want to return to Thunder-Scale Peak? They were supposed to be her fellow disciples. They were her Senior Brothers.
In Feng He Yun’s mind, leaving the Flying Cloud Sect was already Shen Sang Ruo’s limit. She could never have joined a new sect. If she had, then what did their years together mean? What about the wine he had worked so hard to brew for her? [We can make it up to you. It was all a misunderstanding.]
He grasped at straws and said: “You’re lying to us, right? You brought these two here to put on a show, didn’t you?”
He babbled on: “We are First and Third Senior Brother, and they are also First and Third Senior Brother. How could there be such a coincidence?”
“I get it now. You’re still mad at us. You’re doing this on purpose to get back at us, aren’t you?”
“First Senior Brother…” Bai Mu Mu, crushed under his weight, was about to ask him to move.
To her shock, Feng He Yun barked at her: “Shut up!”
Feng He Yun had always been easygoing and smooth. He had never lost control like this, much less at Bai Mu Mu.
Bai Mu Mu clenched her teeth, her eyes turning vicious. Her disgust for him peaked, and he was slipping out of her control. [This madman. I’ll make him pay for this.]
[And that wretched Shen Sang Ruo. She ruins my plans every single time.]
Feng He Yun ignored Bai Mu Mu completely. His full attention stayed on Shen Sang Ruo: “Are you done being angry? Come over here. Let’s return to the Flying Cloud Sect together, alright?”
He rushed on: “We’ll go plead with Sect Master Shen and Master. They will let you come back. We’ll treat you well, just like at the start.”
“Right, I already persuaded Junior Sister. She forgave you and will speak for you.”
He tugged on Bai Mu Mu, anxious: “Junior Sister, say something. Why are you mute now?”
