But seeing Jiang Shi Yue’s face full of sincerity that didn’t seem fake at all, it felt like they were just overthinking it.

When Jiang Shi Yue saw everyone nod, she went straight to the room on her right. It used to be a bathroom. It looked even dirtier and messier than the living room, and the porcelain-white bathtub was already covered in cracks.

Because there was no ventilation, the bathroom air smelled thick and stale, with a stench close to rot.

The mirror above the sink was completely shattered. Broken mirror pieces were all over the floor, and even in the sink. They were scattered everywhere.

“Be satisfied. I risked my life stealing my mom’s powder,” Han Xi Ping said. Only when he was basically finished did he stop what he was doing. He stared at Chen Ze. This kid already had soft, delicate features. Once he put on that messy long black wig, he really did look a bit feminine.

Chen Ze nodded eagerly, stood up at once, and ran downstairs with Han Xi Ping.

Chen Ze pushed the strand of hair out of his eyes and glared at Han Xi Ping, annoyed. “What are you trying to do?”

Liu Zi Yan lowered his voice. “She’s in the bathroom right now. You hide in the kitchen. When she comes out, you jump out from the kitchen.”

Chen Ze understood and darted into the kitchen.

The rest of them quietly turned off their flashlights too and hid together in a corner.
