Jiang Tea Tea followed the direction of his gesture. She saw a dragon tail wrapped around her ankle and calf, pinned under her leg.

Her words cut off like a chicken grabbed by the neck. She stared at the tail Chong Ming stretched toward her. Good grief, there really were two dragon scales missing on his tail, exposing bright red flesh underneath, red but not bleeding.
Seeing her stare at his tail, Chong Ming moved it closer and closer in front of her eyes. She only had to reach out and she could touch it. If she lowered her head, she would bump into it.
He reminded her in a low voice: “Jiang Tea Tea, schoolmate, look at the wound. Is it fresh?”
Jiang Tea Tea let out an awkward dry laugh: “Fresh. Very fresh.”

Chong Ming teased her as he summed it up: “My tail was pressed under your legs, and the wound is this fresh. If you will not admit you picked at it, it could not be that I did it myself, right?”
Jiang Tea Tea made a small sound. She had no idea how to answer that. There was no good way to answer. So she changed the subject: “What time is it now? How many days did I sleep? Shouldn’t you be getting up to deal with government work?”
Chong Ming answered her: “You slept for two days and three nights. Right now it is three in the morning on the third night. I worked two days and two nights in a row and only came over to sleep after midnight.”
“I had just lain down not long ago when you picked the scales off my tail. It hurt so much I didn’t even get to sleep deeply before you woke up.”

What was he doing, what was he doing, seducing her so openly, making her want to turn into branches and vines, slip into his chest, and treat him as fertilizer to eat?
But she could not beat him. She could not kill him at all. Yet he still acted like this. He was clearly doing it on purpose to pick a fight.
Chong Ming looked at her with a deep, dark gaze: “Right. If you will not let me hold you to sleep, then you can hold me to sleep.”
Jiang Tea Tea’s mouth twitched: “We are not that close yet, okay?”
The hand he rested on her waist tightened: “It is fine. The first time feels strange, the second time you will be used to it. Sleep on me a few more times and we will be close.”

Chong Ming answered calmly: “I need it.”
Jiang Tea Tea frowned: “If you need someone to lie on you, go find someone else. Why are you looking for me?”
Chong Ming let out a mute, bitter laugh: “I am only looking for you.”
Jiang Tea Tea blurted out: “Did you get infected with the Living Dead Zombie virus? Did the Super Virus rot your brain?”
The hand holding her wrists moved, pressing both of her hands flat against his chest: “Jiang Tea Tea, you really are a block of wood.”
With her palms pressed against his chest, Jiang Tea Tea could feel his heartbeat. Her black eyes blinked. Suddenly, a string in her head snapped: “Chong Ming, are you seducing me?”
