Chapter 13: You Dare Sneak Attack Me? I’ll Kick Your Butt Open, Don’t Be Shameless When I’m Being Nice
Listening to the wave of angry, unwilling apologies, Jiang Tea Tea felt great. She was pleased and happy.
She gave them one huge eye roll that said they needed more practice, then turned her head and called to Huang Da Zhuang: “Big Dog Huang, let’s go. I’m in a good mood today. Lunch is my treat, you pay!”
Huang Da Zhuang raised his hand and shouted back: “Got it, Sister Tea!”
Lu Ling’er did not know what went wrong in her head. She also raised her hand and said in a small voice: “Jiang Tea Tea, Big Dog Huang, count me in for lunch. I can pay the bill!”
Jiang Tea Tea made a surprised sound. Her face was full of confusion and question marks.
Before this, Lu Ling’er had always looked down on the fake young miss and liked to bully her. And now she wanted to eat with them and even offered to pay? This, this, this… was this the legendary “if you can’t beat her, join her”?
Lin Feng Feng and the others stopped shouting their apologies at once. They all glared at Lu Ling’er with cow-like eyes, as if they were staring at a traitor.
The air suddenly became awkward and heavy.

What Lu Ling’er meant was to know the enemy and herself to win a hundred battles, to sneak into Jiang Tea Tea’s circle and find out if she had awakened any supernatural ability, then attack. Jiang Tea Tea coughed from all the staring. She pointed at herself and Big Dog Huang and asked Lu Ling’er: “Little Deer, you want to treat the two of us to lunch?”
Lu Ling’er nodded like a pecking chick: “Yes, yes. You two can order whatever you want. Anything is fine.”
Once Jiang Tea Tea was sure and certain and nothing felt off, she nodded: “Okay. Let’s go eat.”
As soon as she finished speaking, she turned and walked straight out of the classroom without looking back.
Huang Da Zhuang and Lu Ling’er quickly followed, as if they were afraid of losing her.
Lin Feng Feng and the others watched with their mouths hanging open. Then they comforted themselves. Their little leader Lu Ling’er was only putting up with this, enduring hardship and swallowing her pride so she could make Jiang Tea Tea drop her guard. Later, she would hit her hard and make her kneel and beg for mercy.
The Royal Military Imperial Academy had ten campuses and covered about 15,000 mu of land. It had more than seventy thousand full-time students, over five thousand full-time teachers, and 2,856 staff. Among them were more than forty top experts in different fields from the Nation and over twenty specially invited national treasure-level experts.
There were many school cafeterias on campus. The food covered all the main tastes of the whole M31 Star System and had all sorts of special snacks. Besides that, the school had a shopping mall, the best flying devices, and the most powerful mecha armor. Everything you could want was there.
The three of them took a campus hovercar. As soon as they arrived at the door of the biggest school cafeteria with the most food choices, Jiang Tea Tea’s light-brain wrist terminal rang. The caller ID showed it was the special line of the Nation’s Central Public Security Bureau.
She stepped to the side and answered the call: “Hello, this is Jiang Tea Tea.”
A clear, official voice came from the other end of the call: “Hello, Miss Jiang Tea Tea. I am Police Officer 95878 from the Central Public Security Bureau of the capital planet. I am calling because we received a report last night and have cracked a group debauchery case.”
“After a careful investigation, we found that this case is very serious and involves many people. It has broken the Empire’s Law Code. Your adoptive parents, your fiancé, and your fiancé’s parents are suspected of seriously harming a pure human without abilities against her will.”
“You are one of the people involved. We want to ask if you plan to sign a letter of forgiveness for them, not hold them responsible and not ask for high compensation, or do you want to hold them accountable to the end, ask for high compensation, and cut off your ties with them?”
After Jiang Tea Tea heard this from the officer of the main bureau, her eyebrows rose high. She was impressed by how fast the Empire’s case officers worked and how strict the Law Code was.

Officer 95878 said: “Okay, Miss Jiang Tea Tea. We have a letter of authorization here. After we end this call, we will send it to you. Sign it and we will find free legal aid for you.”
“Any progress in the case will be reported to you in time. If you face any threats outside, you can call the Central Public Security Bureau hotline. The Central Public Security Bureau will do its best to keep every citizen safe!”
Jiang Tea Tea said: “Thank you. Goodbye.”
Officer 95878: “Goodbye.”
After the call ended, Jiang Tea Tea received the letter of authorization from the police bureau. It fully authorized them to pursue responsibility from the Jiang family, the Chu family, and Zhou Jian.
She clicked to sign it and send it back. The corners of her mouth curled up happily as she turned, ready to go find Huang Da Zhuang.
Jiang Yi Zhu rushed out from who knew where and shoved at her: “You ungrateful bitch, who told you to call the police and send Older Brother Chu Ming to the police bureau?”
Jiang Tea Tea’s body moved quickly as she stepped to the side.
She dodged Jiang Yi Zhu’s push.
With nothing to push against, Jiang Yi Zhu lost her balance and fell headfirst to the ground, ending up in a big silly pose with her butt sticking up.
Huang Da Zhuang, Lu Ling’er, and the people who had come to eat at the cafeteria saw this and quickly gathered around to watch the show.
Jiang Tea Tea turned, lifted her foot, and kicked Jiang Yi Zhu right on the butt, slamming her back down onto the hard ground.
Huang Da Zhuang and Lu Ling’er both tensed up. The way they looked at Jiang Tea Tea now was pure little fanboy and little fangirl. They thought she was insanely cool.
Two of Jiang Yi Zhu’s front teeth were knocked out, and her mouth was full of blood. She climbed up and pointed at Jiang Tea Tea, cursing: “You ungrateful bitch. You enjoyed a good life in my Jiang family for more than ten years, and now you send my dad, my mom, and Older Brother Chu Ming to the police bureau. Do you have no shame?”
Jiang Tea Tea spread her hands, arrogant enough to make people die of anger: “I have no shame and you do? Your first words are not about your own dad and mom going to the police bureau, but about my fiancé going there. You really have some nerve.”
