Yu Zhao took the teacup and sipped the water. A flash of regret crossed the faces of Feng Jiusi and Huo Shao Yan.

As the cool tea slid down her throat, the burning, smoky pain in her chest faded. Yu Zhao gave Shui Qiu Bai a grateful look, but in the end her gaze still landed on Huo Shao Yan.
