The Annihilation Pestle flashed and reappeared in the Vice Sect Master’s hand. He burst into crazed laughter and hurled it at the sky: “You sought your own death. Say goodbye to your Sect Guarding Grand Array!”

A thunderous boom shook the heavens. The pestle slammed into the barrier of the grand array and then, after a brilliant flare, it exploded like fireworks.

Zhou Tong’s voice drifted across the stunned silence: “Nice fireworks. Do you have any more?”

He was toying with them. He had already seen through the pestle’s use and still let them try it. That could only mean one thing: the Joyous Union Sect’s grand array did not fear it at all. In other words, this was at least an eighth-grade array.

The Vice Sect Master’s belief cracked as he whispered: “Impossible. Absolutely impossible.” The Jade Purity Sect’s own Sect Guarding Grand Array was eighth-grade. If that were activated at full power, even he was not sure he could escape with his life.

Zhou Tong let his smile fade and spoke softly: “It seems you have no more tricks to please me. In that case, time to end it.”

Someone blurted out in panic: “What do you want to do?”
