Characters:

Qin Ming – A resilient and determined young man, around sixteen years old. He has a pale but handsome appearance with bright, clear eyes. He recently survived a mysterious illness and is undergoing a process called “awakening”  which involves a significant physical and spiritual transformation.

Cui Chong He – the most talented member of the Cui family

Lu Ze – A strong and dependable villager who often helps Qin Ming. He is married to Liang Wan Qing and has two children.

Liang Wan Qing – The wife of Lu Ze, known for her caring and perceptive nature.

Yang Yong Qing – A robust middle-aged man with a beard. Known for his strength and experience in the village.

He tests Qin Ming’s newfound abilities to gauge his potential.

Granny Zhou – a neighbor of Qin Ming from the North Street

Zhou Chang Yu – Granny Zhou’s son, he injured his arm

Uncle Yang (Yang Yong Qing) – the man that was able to keep his family fed and owns the goat

Wen Rui – the little son of Lu Ze

Wen Hui – the two year old little girl and daughter of Lu Ze

Zhou Wu Bing (Sickly) – a member of the village that was named Sickly and had went through a awakening, no longer frail and weak but strong enough to lift 400 pound

Village Chief Xu Yue Ping – In his forties, his face was square, with thick eyebrows and piercing eyes, his body sturdy and strong.

Feng Yian – The patrol leader, Feng Yian, a burly man with a thick beard, was detailing the current state of the mountains.

Fu En Tao – the leader of the patrol group attacking the village hunters

Cao Long – the man that rides the red bull. hes one of the elites from the city

Wei Zhi Rou – a female thats from the city and came during the mountain sweep

Mu Qing – the last of the three leaders sent from the city. its not known if hes male or female based on the cloak that covered his being

Flame Spring – A source of light and warmth in the otherwise dark and cold world. It is a stone-walled pool that emits fiery light.

Wilderness and Deep Mountains – The surrounding wilderness is filled with snow-covered forests, dangerous creatures, and hidden threats.

Bright Moon Worm Habitat – A mysterious location deep within the mountains where the legendary “Bright Moon Worm” resides.

Sunstones – Bright red stones that emit light and slight warmth, used by the villagers to illuminate their homes and paths.

silver wheat – the mutated wheat that was being grinded

Black Moon Herb – the herb that is used by patrolmen for wounds. a mutated one can help increase the odds of achieving a second awakening

Night Silver – These coins, more valuable than common copper, were used in trade with the merchants who passed through town. The coins were round with a hole in the center, a symbol of the sun’s absence, and were called Night Silver.

Day Gold – Entirely golden and radiant, the coins were perfect circles, resembling the lost sun, a symbol of hope for the people.

Monsters:

Man-faced Vulture – A terrifying creature with the body of a vulture and a human-like face. It preys on carrion but may attack the living when desperate.

Bright Moon Worm – A glowing insect that appears in the night sky, lighting up the dark world.

Mutated Red Squirrel – A small but mutated squirrel with fiery red fur, larger than its ordinary counterparts.
