“What’s going on? Who is the one who hurt you like this?” She quickly descends from the sky and lands before the stunned looking lass, her arms open and readying to reach out to help.
The dragoness didn’t utter a word though at those welcoming arms; instead, she wholeheartedly threw herself over to the demon queen and wrapped those little arms around the woman’s waist, refusing to let go in fear of losing her for a second time.
“Dragony, tell me, what is going on here?” Caressing the girl’s back in a soothing gesture after nearly losing her balance, Bai Yan could tell something terrible must’ve occurred to rattle her daughter to this extent.
